“Bigg Boss” Tops The List Top 10 Indian TV Reality Shows Of 2016 On Your Votes

Reality shows have made a special corner in hearts of audience from a past decade. In India, these shows have taken the level of entertainment at a new level. Reality shows has put an end to the era of long running ‘saas-bahu’ daily soaps and attracted audience at large scale. These shows opened a big platform for talented people to showcase their talent. 10) India's Got Talent

India’s most favourite reality show, India’s Got Talent again created its magic on television with its 7th season. The show witnessed many talented people around the country and they succeeded to impress judges and viewers with their talent.

9) Roadies X5

This year Roadies his hosting its 15th season. However, the show has lost its audience after 10th season but it is quite popular among youth. It has back with its all new season in 2016.

8) Splitsvilla 9

However, SplitsVilla is failing to deliver the new concept but this year, Indian television has recorded hype in TRP of this show. The show is quite famous among youth. Young boys and girls try to find the perfect partner for themselves while traversing various challenges and rounds.

7) Dance+ 2

With season 2, Dance Plus made sure to create the same magic on Indian Television like it did in its first season. Season 2 of Dance Plus started on 2 July 2016. The show got the high TRP because of amazingly talented contestants who showed new dance styles.

6) MTV Love School 2

This year, MTV launched its second season of TV reality series for youth, Love School. The second season got much hype because of its hosts, Karan Kundra and Anusha. The series focuses on relationships of real life-couples.

5) Jhalak Dikhhlajaa  Season 9

The ninth season of JDJ was premiered on 30 July 2016 on Colors. The series is hosted by Manish Paul and judged by Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ganesh Hegde. This show is already made popularity since his last seasons and this year too it is receiving a great response of the viewers.

4) Indian Idol 7

Indian Idol has launched its 7th season this year. The show is just started but the craze for the show is seen among the audience. The show already gained TRP. The show is making a comeback on Indian Television after a gap of four years. Sonu Nigam is making a comeback to the show after a decade. Other judges of the show will be Anu Malik and Farah Khan.

3) Super Dancer

This year, a new dance reality show for kids was aired on TV. The kids were aged between 4 and 13 years of age. Shilpa Shetty, Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu were the judges of the show and hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi. Ditya Bhande was the winner of this show.  

2) So You Thunk You Can Dance

In 2016, Indian television took the flagship of popular dance reality show of American, So You Think You Can Dance.  The show went on air on 24 April 2016 and is broadcast on &TV.  The show is being hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani and Mouni Roy with a jury of Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis. The show got a great response of the viewers.

1)  Bigg Boss 10

This year, Bigg Boss has come up with a new concept. In the season 10, he brought aamjanta and celebrity in the same house. Just with the telecast of its first episode, this show came into controversy and till now it is in news for its participants. Recently, the show again got hype because of sudden elimination of Priyanka Jagga.
