Inspite Of Being Loyal To YRF Always, The Production House Has Cheated Salman!
Inspite Of Being Loyal To YRF Always, The Production House Has Cheated Salman!
‘Sultan’ was a super hit and it ruled the box office collections from Day 1. Salman’s acting, popularity of YRF and moreover, the awesome promotions together contributed to ‘HUGE COLLECTIONS’.
However, on Thursday, a hashtag #YRFStopReducingSULTANFigures was seen trending on Twitter. Many people accused YRF to have shown lower collections purposely.
Yes, as per the trade analysts, the movie would soon reach the 300 crore mark, but as per YRF, the collections are very low! You might be wondering why so, isn’t it?
Well, some fans have spread rumors that YRF has done this just to save some additional costs. Reports say that as per the deal between YRF and Salman, if the production house earns more profits and crosses 300 crores, then Salman Khan would get a bigger share.
Yes, while finalizing the deal with Aditya Chopra, Salman had demanded an 80:20 profit sharing ratio just like SRK and Aamir. Got the point?
Now, according to Taran Adarsh, the collections are 298.23 crores i.e. very close to 300 crores but only YRF knows what the truth is. Some sources claim, the 300 crore mark has been crossed long back.
If YRF shows 300 crores, wouldn’t they have to pay hefty sums to Salman? Instead of that, they preferred staying mum and manipulated the figures, thereby saving costs.
The same had been done during Ek Tha Tiger too. Even though the movie had crossed 200 crores, the official collections shown were 199.6 crores. Let us wait and watch since no one except YRF know the official collections.
